Issue No 36 - May 2022 (Dairy Issue)

Packing all the dairy content we’d like into one issue is quite a challenge! Our focus became easy, family-friendly dishes and desserts — delicious breads, pizzas, pastas, mazza, salads, etc. — that you can use over and over again. We created four Shavuos feasts inspired by international cuisine (Indian, Israeli, Polish, and Italian); each works well in its own right, but can be mixed and matched and still feel cohesive. 

Beyond the food, the message of Shavuos resonates so much with our mission at Fleishigs. During the receiving of the Torah, the Jewish nation gathered as one united people, an identifying factor that has lasted centuries. “A Jew is a Jew” is a sentiment that we love celebrating through food by highlighting stories and recipes from different cultures and backgrounds in each issue. Food is the true connector and we especially feel that this time of year. Wishing you and your families a Chag Sameach!
