Issue No 35 - March 2022 (Passover Issue)
While contemplating our options for Pesach and considering a few programs that reached out to us, our sons expressed how much they’ve enjoyed the years spent at home despite the work involved, there is something special about coming together as a family, spending time in the comfort of our own home and creating unique memories. Whether this is your first or twentieth time making Pesach, this issue is packed with inspiration, tips and lots of delicious recipes. This year we made a point to focus on recipes that don’t require any fancy equipment or ingredients, are easy to make and most importantly can be prepared in advance.
We invited food blogger Esty Wolbe and her mother to share their joint wisdom on foolproof Pesach prep and tried-and-true family recipes that we know you will all love and use repeatedly. Beyond cooking in advance, we also focused on recipes with multiple uses. Rosa Seidenwar created an almond-based dough that was used for three different desserts and Adina Silberman shared a potato dough that was used for so many mind-blowing recipes — sweet and savory. This issue took us on a culinary journey of advanced cooking, as well as efficiency, mindfulness and strategy in the kitchen. There is so much worthy content in the pages before and I hope you use it for years to come, creating some incredible family memories in the process.
